Soft, fluffy and tasty

Sponge cake is a very light and soft Japanese sponge cake, a little different from ours and cooked with few ingredients that still make the cake appetizing.
Here below we offer you the recipe to create your own sponge cake. So... let's get to work!

Sponge-cake

Ingredients:

o 20 g of butter

o 1 tablespoon milk

o 90 g of cake flour

o 3 eggs

o 90 g of sugar

o 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Now that we have prepared all our ingredients, let's proceed with the preparation.

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a 17cm cake tin with baking paper.

2. Place the soft butter and milk in a small bowl and place the flour in the other.

3. Combine the eggs and sugar in a saucepan and place over low heat until the sugar has dissolved, then remove from the heat and continue stirring until a sort of cream forms.

4. Add the vanilla and mix until well combined.

5. Add the flour little by little, mixing with a spatula.

6. Once this is done, add the milk and butter previously prepared and mix. Once all the ingredients are well combined, pour the mixture into the previously prepared mold and bake for about 20-25 minutes.

7. Once cooked, let the cake cool before removing it from the mold.

8. Cut it horizontally into 3 parts and stuff it as you like. Serve and enjoy!
