A refined rice and plum wine of above-average quality. This is a plum liqueur of the highest quality, made from the very rare Beni Nanko plums from Wakayama Prefecture, cultivated using mirrors to concentrate sunlight and give them a vibrant colour. Its elegant sweetness and acidity, reminiscent of German Riesling, make it a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes. Pure rice sake, produced specifically for plum wine, is left to steep for a long period of time, and the red colour that the plums take on gives the sake a beautiful colour.
