Hario Coffee Syphon Technica - TCAR-2 – 2 cups
The HARIO Technica TCAR-2 is one of the most iconic Japanese coffee-making systems using the siphon or vacuum method. It works by utilising the difference in pressure created when the water is heated. During the brewing process, the water in the lower flask rises into the upper chamber, where it comes into contact with the ground coffee. Once the heat source is removed, the filtered coffee returns to the lower flask. This method allows for a high degree of precision in extraction whilst offering a particularly visually striking brewing experience. The design of the Technica series is intended to ensure stability and control during use.
The flasks are made from HARIO heat-resistant glass, whilst the metal stand keeps the system stable throughout the various stages of preparation. The TCAR-2 version is designed to brew approximately 2 cups, totalling around 240 ml. It is particularly suitable for specialty coffee enthusiasts, baristas, coffee shops and anyone wishing to try a traditional and precise extraction method.
