Next coffee syphon – NXA-5 – 5 cups – Hario
The HARIO Coffee Syphon NEXT NXA-5 represents the modern evolution of the traditional syphon coffee-making method. The system utilises the change in pressure generated by heating the water: the water in the lower flask rises into the upper chamber, where it comes into contact with the ground coffee. Once the heat source is removed, the filtered coffee returns to the lower flask, ready to be served. The most interesting feature of the NEXT model is the inclusion of two different filter systems in the pack: a classic cloth filter and a modern stainless steel filter.
The two filters allow you to experiment with different results in the cup: the cloth filter tends to produce a particularly clean and delicate coffee, whilst the metal one allows a greater quantity of aromatic oils to pass through, generally offering a richer and fuller-bodied drink. The design has also been updated with an ergonomic, non-slip handle, designed to make handling the jug more comfortable and safer. The NXA-5 version has a net capacity of 600 ml, equivalent to approximately 5 HARIO cups.
