This superior quality rice is carefully cultivated under the direction of Japanese professionals using traditional rice cultivation methods, creating rice grains full of flavour. This type of brown rice is rice where the husk (layer covering the outside of the rice grain) has been removed but still has the bran and germ layer (which are normally removed for white rice).
