Shimonoseki is a port city rich in seafood. This local sake was created to accompany delicious fresh fish dishes. It is characterised by a moderate richness and a clean, slightly dry taste. It is a Daiginjo sake with a delicate aroma, made from 50 per cent polished rice, making it a perfect match for seafood dishes. It can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes, from sashimi to grilled fish. Served cold, it reveals an even more refined taste and offers a refreshing tasting experience. Kaikyo Junmai Daiginjo is recommended for red fish, fatty sashimi and boiled fish. Have fun using them in different ways!
